The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading healthcare organisation to assist in their search for an experienced Project Office Support, to join their team in Surrey on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As a household name, this organisation operate a large environment with over 200 sites across the UK. They have grown substantially over recent years and continue to invest in cutting edge technology and it is due to their success that they require a Project Office Support to join their Central Services Team.
The purpose of this role is to provide tracking and coordination of all business driven IT requests for change. You will be responsible for Change Management; manage the change management control for all existing live services, New Business; manage requests for new projects and service enhancements through the triage and evaluation processes, Finance; manage IT budgets to meet the changing demands of projects which includes requisitioning the payments of existing suppliers, and Reporting and Tracking; providing information to management, generating quality management documentation and ensuring risk analysis and issue tracking disciplines are followed.
The ideal candidate will be educated to a Degree level, highly proficient in Microsoft Desktop packages in particular Excel, with a good understanding of SharePoint and the Intranet/Web. In addition you will have MS Project skills. You will have strong experience of working in IS/IT management, with an understanding of 3rd party software suppliers. Ideally, you will have a formal project management qualification ideally Prince 2, with knowledge of application portfolios required to support healthcare organisations.
This is an urgent requirement and candidates should be available to interview and start at short notice .
There could be the option of this extending or becoming a permanent position.
