  • An award winning international business is looking to hire a Project Accountant in order to help them manage the finances for their ever-expanding global portfolio. Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director, the role-holder will be instrumental in the analysis of project information and performance, contributing hugely to the successful running of the business.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Contributing to the monthly management accounts.
    • Liaising with non-finance project managers
    • Budgeting and forecasting on projects for reporting and variance analysis.
    • Ad-Hoc projects when required.
    • Monitoring project invoicing.
    • Assisting with development of existing systems making improvements if possible.
    • Calculation and production of monthly journals.

    The ideal candidate will be:

    *CIMA/ACCA qualified

    *Experienced in project accounting including WIP processes

    *Proficient in the analysis of budgets/forecasts

    *Experienced in dealing with multi-currency transactions

    *Able to communicate effectively at all levels and all departments

    *Adept in Excel

    *Extremely pro-active and able to work on own initiative
