  • An opportunity has arisen in the Preston area for experienced PHP Developer to join an organisation that has developed an innovative and successful application that is used by a number of organisations in both the local and surrounding counties.

    In this role the successful candidate will be taking the lead in the continued development of a very successful PHP/SQL based application. The role will give the post holder the opportunity to guide and mentor Junior Developers as well as taking responsibility for the direction, further development and diversification of this core application.

    To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you are an experienced PHP Developer, specialising in the development of PHP5 / OO PHP and SQL driven applications. In addition to your core development skills in PHP, you will also need some experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience leading or mentoring a team would be desirable, but is by no means essential.
