Oracle DBA

A multinational corporation is looking for a highly skilled Oracle Production DBA to develop and support a large server environment. In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have proven experience of configuring, maintaining and optimizing Oracle databases, as well as a sound knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.

The successful candidate will manage Distributed Database Systems (Oracle replication) and enhance business critical systems so you must have demonstrable skills in database tuning and optimisation. In addition to this some exposure to Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Oracle Portal would be beneficial but is by no means essential.

You will be working on a considerable multi-site technology platform within a sizeable IT team, so this represents an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills within a company that invests heavily in its staff.
