  • An IT Solutions provider based in South West London have an opportunity for an experienced Technical IT Consultant with solid server and network experience. My client is looking for someone that has led on projects i.e. server installations, builds & migrations; who can demonstrate the tenacity and experience to work alone and lead projects.

    To be suitable for this role you must have extensive experience implementing and trouble-shooting multi-site server installations, server upgrades, domain and exchange migrations.
    All the Technical IT Consultants provide 1st - 3rd line support but you will frequently be required to meet with clients on their sites around the Greater London area and offer high-level 3rd line support consultations with respect to diagnosis, repair, maintenance, installations and upgrades of their workstations, servers, networks, software and other IT equipment.

    Candidates will have ideally worked for a similar IT support company focusing on the SME sector. The environments are typically Windows / Microsoft Office based. To be considered for this role you MUST have practical knowledge and experience of server and network support including carrying out sole installation work with Windows 2003 Server, Exchange Server (2000/2003/2007), ideally some SBS & Terminal Server 2000 / 2003 & IIS Administration. In addition you will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of networking to include TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and VPN.

    •The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £35,000 and £38,000 depending on experience.
