Merchandising Software Configuration Consultant

If you have worked as a Merchandiser (or similar) or a Retail Business Analyst and now wish to move into a more technical role this position will be ideal for you. Based just outside of Leicester my client is a leading software house with an impressive blue chip client base.

Reporting to the Senior Software Configuration Consultant you will be mentored and trained before being sent out to visit clients to configure their software applications. This is a newly created position and can offer the right person excellent career progression within a well established and growing company.

To be suitable for this position you MUST have previous experience of working within the retail sector. Ideally you will have worked as a merchandiser and have outstanding numeracy skills. In addition to this you will need strong business analysis skills and a good understanding of relational databases, SQL queries and pivot tables.

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £25,000 + pension & healthcare.
