My client is a non-profit, membership organization with a national presence. They are looking for an experienced Ledger Clerk and Accounts Assistant (part time - 20 hours a week) with a sound knowledge of Sage Line 50 to maintain the General Ledger, engage in bank and balance sheet reconciliations and prepare the books for monthly and annual audits.
The role will ideally suit someone studying for recognised accounting qualifications as the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to engage in Management Accounting and Financial Accounting activities with the guidance of the organization's accountancy firm.
