  • The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a world leading organisation to help them recruit a Lead Enterprise Architect with TOGAF Certification, to help design and drive forward their enterprise strategy.

    Reporting to the CIO, this role will be responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of the enterprise architecture strategy, and the governance of the enterprise architecture across all divisions.

    To be suitable for this role you will possess experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development
    with the ability to apply technology solutions to business problems. You must demonstrate a track record of translating business needs in to Enterprise Architecture requirements and delivering on those.

    You will have an excellent knowledge of technology environments, including technical architecture, networks, telecommunications, programming, media, desktops and middleware and will possess appropriate certifications in a number of relevant technical disciplines

    The ideal candidate will have a track record of implementation of all components of holistic enterprise architecture and have extensive knowledge of hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems, gained in a multi-tier environment. .

    The EA strategy is required to move the organisation away from individual IT entities to ensure integrated enterprise-wide architecture . You will develop, implement and maintain optimal governance structures and compliance activities to ensure EA compliance and maintain and own an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

    It is expected that you will have a strong academic background, ideally degree level educated with the Open Group Architecture Framework certification and have a solid understanding of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations, information analysis and business strategic planning and a track record of successfully leading and motivating in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    Demonstrable experience will be required to lead, manage, motivate and develop the Enterprise Architecture team and you will possess proven leadership ability and be a team player who influences effectively at all levels across a complex, multi-divisional business with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    It is expected that to be suitable for this role the ideal candidate will have worked in a complex, multi -divisional international business and possess superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
