  • The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading financial services specific technical support firm to assist in finding a talented and ambitious ICT Graduate to join their client support team. In order to be considered suitable for this role, you will have a good degree (2:1 or better) in a computing or related subject.

    This role is heavily biased towards database administration and maintenance. You will also need to have some knowledge of reporting, ideally with Crystal Reports although this is not essential. My client is expecting to receive the CV's of candidates who have circa 12 months in a technical support function, either since graduation or through an industrial placement programme.

    Technically, you will have a sound knowledge of relational databases and SQL, ideally with SQL Server and/or Oracle. You will have some experience with Windows Desktop and Server technologies and you should have a basic understanding of web technologies and common programming languages too.
