Junior IT Support Analyst

  • An excellent Junior IT Support opportunity has arisen within a household name in the Finance industry.

    This role requires a flexible individual who is willing to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays for distant client visits. You MUST also have your own car/transport and a full UK driving licence.

    Working in a small helpdesk team, your specific role will be to travel to various customer sites and perform installations of the company's bespoke software. It is not essential that you have previous experience in an installation role as you will be provided with full training on the software and how to install it. Following your installation, it will also be a requirement for you to provide some user training in how to best use the software, so it is essential that you are an articulate individual, confident in presenting to groups with excellent communication skills.

    When you are not on customer sites, you will be required to join the helpdesk team in taking and resolving technical support calls from customers.

    In order to be suitable you will have an IT-related degree or equivalent, coupled with excellent communication skills. Although some helpdesk experience would be beneficial, it is not essential, provided your IT education and communication skills are strong.

    This role is a starting point within a highly successful and supportive business. Travel expenses are reimbursed and, where possible, covered in advance for longer journeys requiring flight bookings and hotels. It is essential that you have a full UK driving licence and your own transport.
