  • The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading, niche software house to assist them in their search for a new Java Developer. The role will involve you in the development of a core suite of products through their full lifecycle as well as taking the lead on development of bolt on modules and integration work. You will need to have the ability to lead development projects and should be accustomed to monitoring the efforts of junior developers.

    The successful candidate will have substantial Java programming experience to offer and will be accustomed to building complex applications using Java. Eclipse skills are also required as it is used extensively throughout the environment and it is anticipated that you will be comfortable developing Eclipse plug-ins. Any experience with C or C++ would be highly attractive, but this is by no means a prerequisite.

    Salary £40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience

    Requirement:

    Strong Java programming skills
    Substantial Eclipse knowledge
    Good knowledge of general web technologies
