This is a unique opportunity for a talented IT Trainer with a strong commercial awareness to join an international, innovative, well established IT Development & Support Company on a 12 month fixed term contract.The position will be focused around using training and support to develop channel relationships and brand awareness within the UK SMB & Enterprise markets.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, confident and capable of delivering effective presentations to influence and manage relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders. You will also need an interest in Business Development and building and strengthening client relationships.
This role needs someone with initiative, as you will be working from home and visiting client sites for the majority of your time, and so must be able to manage your own workload effectively. You must be happy to travel within the M4/M40 corridor and occasionally beyond this - your own transport and valid driver’s licence is essential. There is a monthly car allowance in addition to the basic salary.
You must be comfortable taking on a role where you will effectively be an ambassador for a highly recognised brand. This means taking on the responsibility for designing training from scratch, delivering it in an effective and relevant manner and providing regular reports to your line manager. The additional commercial aspect of this position is you will need to identify opportunities and make recommendations for more targeted marketing and brand utilisation opportunities like micro-sites, product campaigns and seminars.
