  • A successful IT company that has been operating for over 15 years is looking to recruit an experienced Desktop Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer into their established IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that has an established client base across multiple industries.

    Reporting into the IT Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical IT support and customer service to a range of internal staff, both office and field based. The role will include, providing technical IT Support via the helpdesk system, upgrading equipment, providing break-fix solutions and end user training.

    In order to be suitable for this opportunity you MUST have solid experience of dealing with anything from very basic first line issues, to more complex desktop support and basic administration work. A good knowledge of Active Directory, coupled with Exchange experience, whilst working in a Windows environment (2000 / XP Professional & 2000 / 2003 Server) is essential. In addition, it is essential to have strong networking skills and an understanding of VBScript  / Shell Script. The ideal candidate will also have exceptional customer service skills and some understanding of technologies such as SQL Server, SharePoint, ISA or IIS, but these are not essential.
