  • The Ashdown Group are proud to be working exclusively with this well established and growing IT consultancy firm. They are looking for an IT Support Field Engineer to join their existing team of IT consultants in a client facing position. To be considered for this position you will have experience in providing telephone, remote and onsite client based Microsoft support to a wide user base. In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have a full UK driving licence and your own transportation.

    You will ideally have worked within a Microsoft based environment installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting MS Office, Windows XP Professional, MS Outlook, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory and basic Exchange. PC, server and network hardware support will also be highly beneficial but not essential.

    My client has a friendly IT team where everybody shares in their success with paid bonuses as a result of company performance on a six-monthly basis. The job is primarily a field based role visiting client sites within a 30 miles radius of my client's site, so previous experience working as a field engineer will be considered beneficial.

    Ideally you will MCP certified and be working towards either an MCSA or MCSE. My client will be happy to pay for further MCP courses towards your MCITP after your first 12 months of employment.

    The head office is based in the Amersham area of Buckinghamshire in-between High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead and Watford. They are paying a salary of £22,000 + bonuses, £100 initial clothes allowance, Microsoft training, mileage, over time and 28 days holiday.
