IT Support Engineer

My client, a friendly IT consultancy firm, is looking for an IT Support Field Engineer to join their existing team of IT consultants. You will have experience of providing telephone, remote and onsite client based Microsoft support to a wide variety of users. In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have a full UK driving licence and your own transportation.

You will ideally have worked within a Microsoft based environment installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting MS Office, Windows XP Professional, MS Outlook, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory and basic Exchange. PC and server hardware support will also be highly beneficial but not essential.

My client has a friendly team where everybody shares in their success with paid bonuses as a result of company performance on a six-monthly basis. The job is primarily a field based role visiting sites within a 30 miles radius of my client's site, so previous experience working as a field engineer will be considered beneficial.

Ideally you will MCP certified and be working towards either an MCSA or MCSE. My client will be happy to pay for further MCP courses towards your MCSE after your first 12 months of employment.

• Based in the Amersham area between High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury and Watford in Buckinghamshire.
• Paying a salary of £18,000 + bonus, £100 initial clothes allowance, MCSE training, mileage, over time and 20 days holiday.
