  • A very successful and market leading organisation that is based in South Birmingham has a requirement for a IT Helpdesk Manager to assume control of the internal IT and the IT Support team.

    You will manage the helpdesk team by monitoring their performance and acting as the escalation point for any serious matters. You will also be responsible for assessing any training needed within the current IT Support Team.

    You will be responsible for all IT related 3rd party supplier relations making sure current SLA’s are followed and adhered to.

    To be suitable for this role you must have at least 5-8 years experience of managing a corporate IT Helpdesk and/or being responsible for all IT matters in a smaller environment encompassing 1st, 2nd as well as 3rd line support.

    You must have proven experience of supporting Microsoft Office standard package including application support of Microsoft Access.

    Technical skills must include an excellent working knowledge of Windows Server 2000/2008, Active Directory, Windows XP/7, MS SQL Server and MS Office are essential. Any knowledge and experience of working with remote support via VPN and support of EPOS systems would be advantageous.
