IT Director - Finance Sector

  • The Ashdown Group has been engaged by an international financial services business to assist them in their search for a new IT Director. The role will focus on the strategic elements of managing an IT department in an internationally renowned financial services business and you will be required to consult with the most senior managers within the group to plan for the future provision of IT within the UK and ensure continuity and quality of service.

    The successful candidate will have experience as an IT Director previously, ideally operating in a globalized environment or at least being accustomed to dealing with an American parent company. You will be managing a technically diverse team of 10 to 12 within the immediate environment, reporting through an established IT Manager and you will be in regular contact with counterparts and the CTO in the US. Finance or banking experience is not essential, but would be highly beneficial.
