Interim HR Director

An established Not for Profit organisation is looking for a hands on HR Director to oversee the running of the human resources and payroll function for more than 1000 employees. Please note this will initially be an interim role for 6 months, with the possibility of going to permanent.

Reporting into the CEO and as part of the senior management team, the successful candidate will firstly be responsible for taking over and managing various projects including Jobs and Career Framework, Performance Management, Recruitment (design of good practice), new induction programme for managers as well as providing consultation on the purchase of a new HR information management system. General duties also include the design and implementation of a workforce strategy (learning and development, review of pay structures, reduction of costs, succession planning) as well as providing advice and information to managers.

In order to be suitable for this role it is essential to have substantial generalist HR knowledge and experience. It is essential to have experience of managing a small HR team (HR Manager, HR Advisor, HR Assistant and Payroll) including taking a hands-on approach to leading. Membership of the CIPD is highly desirable.

• Paying a salary of £55,000 and £63,000 pro rata depending on experience plus benefits including pensions and 30 days annual leave
• Located East of Oxford, Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire borders (Commutable from Berkshire, Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire)
