    An opportunity has arisen to join their Technical Services team as an Infrastructure Analyst, providing support to internal employees and external clients.

    Duties are numerous but will include providing desktop, server and associated software support to staff and clients, monitoring and maintaining LANs, internet connections and associated technologies, monitoring and maintaining backup software whilst proactively monitoring the company’s infrastructure and acting upon automatic alerts generated by the servers.

    In addition you will be required to carry out installations, upgrades and support of products where required (training will be given), as well as providing server specifications and technical consultancy to clients wishing to purchase products.

    To be successful in this role you will have background in the IT industry doing a similar role and have current Microsoft certification to at least MCP level. As you will be required to travel (expensed), you will be expected to have a full UK Driving License and car.

    Your technical experience MUST include Experience of implementing and/or maintaining Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Active Directory, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 , and knowledge of implementing and/or maintaining a TCP/IP network in a corporate environment.

    You will need to show ability to work from a support ticket queue and prioritise own workload, along with obvious ability in communicating effectively with non-technical staff and clients.
