  • A highly respected London based trading company has an urgent contract requirement for an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to work for an extremely well-recognised enterprise level company working with cutting edge technology.

    Experience of working in Investment Banking, Energy, Insurance or the Trading sectors would strongly support your application so please ensure this is clearly indicated on your CV.

    As the server specialist you will be responsible for the day to day installation, configuration, management and monitoring of the server infrastructure and the installation and configuration and maintenance of Microsoft clusters.

    To be considered for this position you will need all or most of the below skills and experience:

    • Windows Server 2003 and 2008 (R2) clustering
    • VMware ESXi (4.1) configuration and monitoring
    • Support of HP C700 blade enclosures & BL Blades inc. Netflex10 & HBA installation
    • EMC Storage, 3PAR/Data Domain Storage Administration
    • Active Directory Configuration and management in a multi-forest design
    • Citrix
    • Net Backup
    • Exchange 2007 (highly desirable)
    •     OCS and messaging infrastructure monitoring and maintenance (desirable)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing and maintaining the Windows Server environment. You will also be involved in 2nd and 3rd line support of related technologies.

    • Estimated 3 month duration with daily rates of £375 per day
    • Experience of working in Investment Banking, Energy, Insurance or the Trading sectors would strongly support your application
