HR Advisor / HR Officer

A market leading engineering & building services organisation is looking for a confident generalist HR Officer to join their dedicated HR team. You will need to have a flexible approach to your work, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the company.

This is a well-established and successful company and there will be clear opportunities for long term career progression.

There will be occasional travel involved in this role as there are a number of sites in the Midlands region that you will work in, so a clean driver’s licence is essential.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified - but those who are part qualified will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the line managers and ensuring the effective management of the Company’s employees.

This role requires an individual with experience in all or most of the following:

• Employee relations & employment law

• Absence management

• Disciplinary & grievance procedures

• Performance management

• Training and development

• Recruitment

In addition it is expected you will have had experience contributing to the development and implementation of HR policy and practice. Any experience of managing a recruitment budget and developing varying recruitment initiatives would strongly support your application.
