  • A well-established international media organisation is looking for a bright and articulate Helpdesk Support Technician due to growth. This is a fixed term contract for initially 4 months with a good possibility of becoming a temp to perm opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient 2nd line support within a helpdesk environment for approximately 700 UK users. This role will entail utilising the helpdesk ticketing system, providing business application support, installing and configuring workstations, delivering user support training and occasionally supporting MACs.

    In order to be suitable for this requirement you must be available to start immediately. It is essential to have proven experience of working within a helpdesk / service desk environment for a medium to large sized user base. This role would suit a good communicator who is comfortable supporting users at all levels and within a diverse environment. It is essential to have good support knowledge of Active Directory (log ins, user access control permissions…etc.), Windows XP & 7, MS Office as well as knowledge of Printer support (ideally HP and Ricoh) and networking topologies, including WiFi.
