  • An SEO Manager is required to join an established, respected and growing digital agency based in Surrey.

    They are seeking a talented individual with proven commercial achievements - providing high natural rankings in a competitive marketplace.

    Your remit will include two key responsibilities: client interaction and SEO research and planning.

    Working alongside the Business Development, Sales and Account Management functions you will provide website analysis and assessment, focusing on current performance. Exceptional written English and numeracy (using Excel) is essential.

    Following an assessment you will provide the client with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) activities. This may include: analysis of performance metrics; keyword research; ranking analysis/position checking; competitor analysis; market audits; writing SEO friendly copy and implementation of best practice.

    You will have responsibility for designing then presenting an ongoing program of works and long-term recommendations.

    You will be afforded the time to research SEO innovation and activity, and you will be encouraged to become an active member of the SEO community.

    Any technical web design, web development or understanding of web technologies (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript) will be of value but is not mandatory. You will not be responsible for making major technical changes.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO Consultant, SEO Analyst or someone working within SEO at an online marketing agency, who is looking to take a lead role in the provision of SEO consulting.

    This client is looking to pay a basic salary of £45,000 however applications will be considered from those seeking a higher salary if significant and relevant experience is shown. Please clearly state any additional salary expectations in your covering email.
