  • A market leading company headquartered in London is looking for a Head of Database Marketing to join their large marketing function. This role will be responsible for the output, leadership and development of the B2C Campaign Management and Database Insight teams. Taking the lead on a number of high priority strategic projects, you will work closely with various areas of the business including IT and Data Control teams to ensure that all systems and data are maintained, optimised and made fit for purpose.

    To be suitable for this role you will have:
    - Background in database marketing, insight/analytics and direct marketing campaign management.
    - Proven experience of developing, maintaining and monitoring processes within the data elements of the end-to end B2C Direct Marketing campaign functions.
    - Although not a purist analyst function, my client is looking for an analytically focused marketer able to understand the use of insight & analytical tools and be able to manage technical teams who will apply techniques to drive campaign performance.
    - Attention to detail is critical, as is the need to be numerate and analytical.
    - Ideally you will have experience in the use and application of analytics for example SAS, SPSS and WPS as well as direct marketing campaign management tools i.e. Alterian, FastStats.
    - A good working knowledge of SQL would also be advantageous.

    As a guideline, perhaps a background in database marketing, data planning/strategy, data analysis/data insight, customer insight/intelligence, CRM, CVM (customer value management) would be suitable.

    • The salary on offer for this role is up to £60,000 basic dependant on experience - plus company benefits including £6250 car allowance, private healthcare and a 30% performance related bonus
