An opportunity has arisen in the City area of London for a talented IT graduate or graduate calibre trainee to join a very large and multi-faceted consultancy that has offices in over 30 countries world-wide. In this role you will be trained to become an expert in the use of data processing/interrogation tools and software that are used in the forensic computing and litigation arenas.
Suitable candidates will almost certainly be those who have recently achieved a strong degree in an IT, Mathematics or Science discipline. As part of your degree, or through self teaching, you will need to have a technical understanding of relational databases and relational database systems. You will also need database programming skills using SQL (ideally T-SQL) and you will have an understanding of queries, tables, joins and the construction of databases.
In addition to a strong understanding of SQL and database systems, you will also have a strong interest in PC's, computing and be the sort of person who is very much in touch what's hot and what not in the world of IT. There will need to be evidence of this on your CV to be considered.
Worth noting is that in this role you will be pushed hard; you will need to be the sort of person who does mind staying late to get things done, travelling to major cities across the globe and also finding the time to socialize with clients and colleagues.
This role pays a salary of up to £24,000 The role is based in London
