  • The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a FTSE 100 business to assist them in their search for a Global Finance, Planning and Analysis Director to join their Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals division. The role will be based from the company’s offices in Chester, but carries includes an international remit that will involve some travel to European, US and North African destinations. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing the analytical and planning activities of a team, but will also be accustomed to using that information in order to shape fundamental strategic decisions and to inform structural and organizational planning at the highest level

    You will be a Qualified accountant with experience providing financial support to a global business and leading a small international team. Experience developing KPI's and supporting acquisitions is required as is experience of internal and external audit procedures.

    This role is likely to suit somebody who has extensive experience working the global arena and is therefore culturally aware.

    You will be a key influencer who can be assertive when necessary but able to listen and make cohesive decisions.

    Ideally you will be fluent in a second language and be willing to undertake extensive international travel .
