Field Engineer

An international technology company and a household name; this is a very desirable company to work for. Due to their continued steady growth they have a new permanent opportunity for a Support Engineer to join their established team.

To be considered for this role you MUST drive and have a full clean drivers licence.

The position is a home based role travelling to various client sites to help deliver major infrastructure installations (Servers, hardware and networks) and to provide on-going remote and on-site support.

There will be regular travel involved to sites across North Wales – an initial major project will be near Bangor – but there will be occasional travel to other sites across the UK when projects require it.

You must have good knowledge of both remote and face to face IT support. You should also have experience with all or most of the following:

• Windows XP, Vista & version 7
• Working with Microsoft Windows 2003 &/or 2008
• PC hardware & dealing with hardware failures
• Networking with Microsoft Windows
• RAID systems & installing server hardware (ideally Dell experience)
• Active directory & domain integration experience
• Monitoring & maintenance of existing systems
• Provide on-site support for installation & integration projects

Any experience within the Digital Imaging / X-Ray equipment within the Medical industry would strongly support your application but is not essential.
