This is an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Architect to join a dynamic and award winning Network and Security solutions provider. You must be a technology enthusiast keen to research and stay ahead of the latest advances in the industry The company works in a number of different industry sectors and believes in building long term client relationships and trying to find the solution that best matches their requirements. They aim to provide improved efficiency, security and productivity for their clients and are known for their technical expertise and the quality of their solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture of enterprise solutions through the full life cycle, with a focus on design work and defining strategic technology direction.You will work closely with other architectural teams (virtualisation, network, server, etc.) to design, build and deploy complete solutions. You will also support the teams involved in the bid and tender process and provide reporting to the board.
From a technical perspective we are looking for an individual with solid Storage & backup skills with all or most of the following:
• Storage area networking• Symantec Enterprise Vault• NetApp• EMC• VNX• Clarion• Data Domain• Symantec NetBackup or Symantec Backup Exec
It would strongly support your application if you had any presales, consultancy or experience with a reseller or service provider.
This position will require an exceptional communicator who is confident and capable of providing both high level architecture and also able to analyse and understand the technical detail. You must be comfortable building client relationships and turning ideas into feasible and deliverable technical products and processes, producing detailed design work & technical standards documentation and have the ability to architect enterprise archiving & data management solutions.
