Ecommerce Senior Java Developer (JEE)

  • A market leading organisation within the retail industry is looking for an experienced Java / JEE Developer with experience of working on top brand e-commerce websites. The role will be responsible for application development, application design reviews and assisting with problem analysis & resolution.

    To be suitable for this position you will have proven experience of building of large scale websites using Websphere, JEE/JEE and SQL/DB2. It is essential to have experience of working with large, complex and highly integrated applications. Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will have come from a client facing background and have a good working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

    Your technical skills MUST include all of the following:
    - JEE development
    - OO Analysis and Design
    - Websphere
    - DB2 and SQL
    - Service Orientated Architecture
    - Design patterns in Java
