  • A global medium-sized business that has been operating for forty years is looking for a bright and ambitious Desktop Support Analyst to join their small IT team. Please note, this is initially a fixed term contract for three months with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

    The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for employees and tasked with providing 1st – 3rd line support, with a focus on desktop support. The role will involve troubleshooting operating system queries, providing PC maintenance, supporting all peripherals, managing antivirus software, backing up business critical data, assisting with 3rd line support queries as well as creating documentation and providing appropriate end user training as required.

    In order to be suitable for this position you will have experience working in a Service Desk Engineer, Helpdesk Analyst, IT Support Technician or similar role, with some desktop support experience. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge incorporating hardware, Windows XP and 7, Active Directory and MS Office (2007 and/or 2010). The ideal candidate will also have experience of Symantec Backup Exec.

    This is an excellent opportunity that would suit determined and motivated candidates as the IT Manager would like to spend time training the successful candidate.




    • Paying a basic salary of £25,000 - £29,000 pro rata plus benefits including 25 days annual leave
    • Located in the Leatherhead area, Surrey / South London
    • Initially a fixed term contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent
