Desktop Support Analyst

A well established business is looking to add a dynamic Desktop Support Analyst to its expanding team.  The role will require you to perform a wide range of duties from supporting all IT related issues to managing the acquisition and installation of new computer hardware and software. You will be providing hands on support to internal users on a daily basis so good communication skills and a personable attitude are essential.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have a solid understanding of Windows XP Pro, MS Office and Outlook, coupled with a secure knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN). Any experience with Citrix, Windows Server 2003 and Lotus Notes Mail would be advantageous, but is by no means essential. The company works to ITIL principles, so any exposure to this or any other service delivery framework would also be of benefit.

For this opportunity the company is offering a basic salary of £20,000 per annum together with a generous benefits package including 25 days holiday, pension scheme, healthcare and bonus.
