  • A customer focused Desktop Support Analyst is required for a 3 month fixed term contract by a Central London based organisation.

    This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a Desktop Support or IT Support role.

    The successful candidate will hold responsibility for providing telephone based and desktop support to a community of approximately 450 local and remote users. In addition to the provision of desktop support, there will also be opportunities for the successful candidate to be involved in other planned IT projects; namely the roll-out and administration of thin clients (Citrix & Terminal Services). This is an opportunity to develop your skills within a virtualised environment.

    The technical skills required for this role include the support of Windows packages, mainstream MS Office applications, PC hardware and peripherals - including the installation and configuration of PC's, laptops, thin clients and printers. You will also need to be able to undertake basic administrative tasks for user accounts and mailboxes in MS Exchange or Active Directory. Experience of network support involving LAN, WAN and TCP/IP is also desirable.

    Candidates with Microsoft, Comptia or other relevant professional qualifications are likely to be of particular interest to this business.

    •This position is offering a basic pro-rated salary of up to £28,000 dependant on experience.
    •Offices based in the Aldgate area and easily accessible from Liverpool Street station.
    •3 month fixed term contract starting at the beginning of September.
