  • This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and talented individual with a keen interest in continuing a career in IT Support to join a well-established retail organisation based in Central London.

    Joining an IT team as a Senior IT Support Administrator, this role would suit a excellent communicator with a friendly and positive outlook. You will be acting as a point of escalation within the IT team and from time to time you will be required to manage the IT Team in the absence of the IT Manager. You will maintain, support and develop IT to ensure a reliant and robust as well as efficient IT and Telecommunications systems.

    You must have a solid background in Desktop Support with at least 2 years experience having worked with support of Windows 7, PCs, printers and telephony systems. You must have experience of supporting applications, such as Microsoft Office and the Adobe Suite.

    Previous experience of retail applications and EPOS systems is a distinct advantage.

    Supporting well over 200 users throughout the UK, the below technologies and skills will be used:

    Windows 7

    Active Directory

    Providing hardware & software support

    Repair, installation and upgrades PC's, laptops and other peripherals

    Troubleshooting problems with telephony systems

    Supporting MS Office

    EPOS

    Network technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.)

    Any certifications such as: MCP, MCSE, Citrix is beneficial.

    Travel: This position will require travel up to 1day/week. To be considered for this position you MUST have a driver license. Company car will be provided.

    Working hours: Mon-Fri; 9am – 5.30pm with some ad-hoc Sunday work throughout the year.
