  • A highly successful technology company is currently looking to recruit an experienced Data Management Coordinator to be responsible for tactical and strategic data & information management activities to help drive the smooth running of a critical business unit. This role will be based near Staines, Middx and offering a salary of up to £45,000.

    The role combines both hands-on support, facilitation to support desks and representation of the business units interests. You must have proven systems administration experience in an enterprise IT environment and have a thorough technical knowledge of IM best practice including document management principles, folder structures and security as you will support the business with advice in terms of improving IM in the business unit.

    It is imperative to have proven experience of Unix support, being able to facilitate user requests for Unix accounts and folder permissions as well as conducting Unix disk allocation and growth forecasting. You must be well versed in Data archival /restoration and Unix data moves. You must have solid experience of creating and modifying security-enabled distribution lists as well as shared drive creation and security.

    The ideal candidate should have at least 3-4 years’ experience in information management (IM) roles combined with sound Unix/Linux experience, including basic scripting skills.
