  • A large company, well established in its field, is looking to recruit a Data Analyst and is considering applicants from graduate to senior level. Salary on offer ranges from £25,000-40,000 depending upon your level of experience.

    This role involves high level of data analysis in order to develop and implement pricing and profitable commercial strategies. You will be responsible for identifying trends, producing reports analysis and presenting statistics to Senior Management at Board level, making recommendations for remedial action where necessary. It is vital to have good commercial awareness and not just being able to produce reports but to effectively analyse, forecast, model and interpret the figures to the business.

    To be suitable for this position you will ideally have a Maths or Mathematics related degree (especially in the junior role) and ideally be from an actuarial or insurance background. At the senior level my client is looking for someone with both technical skills and ideally advanced Access VBA or SQL programming experience but also someone who demonstrates a good commercial awareness in terms of forecasting, data modelling and interpretation. A person coming from an insurance or finance/actuarial environment with a commercial, product or pricing analyst background may well be considered suitable for this role.

    The salary for this position is between £25,000 - £40,000, dependant on experience. At the junior level, training and support will be provided.
