Customer Care Manager

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading software house with an impressive blue chip client list, to assist in their search for a Customer Care Manager. The role will focus on the provision of high quality customer service and account management activity undertaken with a view to maximising customer retention.

The successful candidate will have a background in customer service and customer care WITHIN the technology (ideally software) arena. Experience of managing client relationships from a quality of service standpoint is essential. Key performance measures would include customer retention and renewal rates. You will also be engaged in designing, implementing and enforcing a quality programme to ensure that the company and its software products maintain their competitive edge. Quality of service will be something that you refer to as a matter of course.

A commercial mindset is essential for this role as your constant interaction with your client base will place you in a position to identify additional opportunities for service and product enhancements. Training opportunities might also be evident. You will be expected to bridge the gap between the business and its existing customer base.

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000

Requirement:

Prior experience in a customer service or customer care management role in the software or technology sector
Focus on customer retention and service contract renewals
