A well-established specialist manufacturer is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join its expanding team.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you MUST have extensive experience of cost accounting within a manufacturing environment and be at least part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW). In addition to this you should have commercial exposure to integrated ERP systems.
You will be working in a predominantly export-led environment within a team of 6 accountants and will be expected to control product cost accounting and the company’s ERP system. You will be expected to maintain standard costing for existing and new products and will investigate inventory adjustments ensuring reconciliation to the financial system. You will also provide financial support within a lean manufacturing environment and help to devise and develop stock cycle procedures and policies.
