  • The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a FTSE 100 consultancy group to assist them in their search for a Commercial and Finance manager. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be a Qualified Accountant, with strong commercial, business performance analysis, and risk management expertise -- preferably gained in the B2B service sector.

    This role will require you to perform the duties relating to commercial and finance management, including providing management information including analysis & reporting of monthly performance & forecasts. Ensuring compliance with company Commercial and Financial policies & procedures, including budgetary controls and sign-off procedures.

    You will also be responsible for ensuring monthly reports are prepared in accordance with IFRS, preparing and managing the audit of the year-end statutory accounts and preparing annual budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, supporting the FP&A.

    You will have a proven track-record in the delivery of timely and accurate complex financial and other business performance information and have a thorough understanding of the importance of compliance processes and due diligence with good attention to detail.

    Ideally you will have a background in Project Accounting, including revenue recognition and WIP evaluation.
