This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Category & Insight Manager to join a well-established and well-known company. This is a new position based in the Head Offices near Bradford; you will be joining a growing and friendly team.To be considered for this role it is essential that you have FMCG, food /drink retail or manufacturing sector experience – please ensure this is clearly indicated on your CV.
Your role will be responsible for the sourcing of category and consumer data, effective interpretation and delivery of compelling insights both internally and externally. You will also play a meaningful role in the development of business commercial strategy, including New Product Development (NPD) funnel and promotional strategies.
Working closely with the Sales and Marketing departments the successful candidate will have a customer facing role, constructing and delivering effective trade presentations which provide expert category knowledge and insights, thus helping to drive overall business growth through distribution, return on sales (ROS) and product and brand visibility.
It is essential that you have all or most of the following skills and experience:
• Marketing analytics experience
• Understanding of the principles & practices of Category Management
• Experience in working with a variety of market data sources
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Ability to produce customer / channel bespoke reports to support presentations
• Experience identifying risks & opportunities relating to the brand
• To produce fixed data reports identifying brand & customer performance
