You will be designing and developing software solutions in order to add features to their range of editing, effects and workflow software products. In this role you will be subject to regular mentoring and training , in order to encourage rapid personal and technical development….the sky is the limit !Amongst your duties this role will require you to discuss and agree design and development strategies with senior technical leads within the department, you will also be called on to contribute to associated product documentation, and carry out high standards of coding, testing and quality work.You will be degree qualified, with excellent communication, and these technical skills: A high proficiency in C++, SCM system (ie Clearcase),competent design patterns and/or Object-Oriented design skills. In addition you will have test-Driven Development knowledge, good Visual Studio IDE, and will be familiar with contemporary open source technologies.Ideally you will also be competent in Script languages, e.g Python and web based development.
