Business Systems Analyst

  • A global organisation and major technology supplier to businesses across the UK is currently seeking an experienced technical Business Analyst to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. Beyond the initial 6 month period there is definite scope for extension and/or to go permanent.

    The main focus of this role will be on the internet and software application development side of the business, with your responsibilities covering business analysis for both clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will come from a technical software / web development background or have extensive experience of working with developers in a technical business systems analysis role. The key areas you will be involved in are API / GUI / Usability.

    You must have proven experience in analysing client requirements in conjunction with their existing systems / applications / processes. You will be required to identify areas for improvement, suggest potential solutions and communicate these with both the client and internal teams.

    Experience of working closely with development teams and overseeing implementation projects is essential to the role, as is experience of working across the full project and development lifecycle. Some budgetary management experience would be beneficial.

    You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to deliver presentations, produce reports and user manuals, put together proposals and provide client training. Knowledge of Prince2 and / or ITIL would be beneficial to the role but is not essential, along with any experience in GUI design and web-related technologies.

    The business are looking to pay a salary in the region of £35,000 pro-rata for this role depending upon the skills and experience you have to offer.
