This is a rare opportunity to join a respected city based design and interior architecture firm. They have a well-established reputation for producing high-end commercial office environments within some of London’s most notable buildings.
The core of the requirement requires an articulate individual able to act as bookkeeper. In addition the role requires a person happy to operate as PA, office manager and general administrator.
The remit has a variety of duties - as bookkeeper it includes handling purchase and sales invoices, payment of sub-contractors, VAT invoices and processing staff expenses. Experience of handling VAT invoices and tax returns will stand a candidate in a better position to secure an interview.
Further to the duties as bookkeeper, the remit includes some PA duties for the Managing Director, some general HR administration – for example keeping track of holidays and sick days – and some office manager duties, such as the management of diaries or making travel arrangements where required.
This is a varied role where being pro-active and demonstrating a self-managing work ethic will allow the entire business to run more smoothly. If applying for this position please highlight all the above attributes clearly on your CV – also make clear previous periods of stability with previous employers and any sustained work history requiring you to commute to – or work in - central London.
Technically the right person must be able to show good commercial knowledge of Sage Line 50, Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Bookkeeper and PA
• Up to £30,000
