Application and Data Support Analyst

A leading technology and IT solutions provider based in London - near Waterloo, have an opportunity for an Application and Data Support Analyst to join their talented team. They are well established and well recognised – leaders in their field with clients that include numerous household names.

This role requires an excellent communicator who is professional, friendly and comfortable dealing with people at all levels within a company – both remotely and face to face.

You will be working to support the user community in their day to day use and understanding of applications, troubleshooting and bug fixing, ensuring the integrity, consistency and security of data on the database and that users can access it appropriately and implement and install business applications.

The user support will extend helping to provide system documentation and user guides and possibly some coaching to individuals. You will also provide support to the business by enhancing applications and developing reports, workflows and small applications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have solid experience in providing user support – remote and onsite, Application Support in a Microsoft Client Server Environment (including bug fixing), awareness of development, test, UAT and production process, MS SQL server support and knowledge of BMC Remedy v7.

Ideally you will also have experience with all or most of the following: MS Windows Administration, working with High Availability Systems, experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
