  • An international business with several UK offices and large departments is seeking an administrator to join their IT department. You will act as liaison with other departments to ensure the role of IT in supporting and driving forward business in a commercial environment is promoted and understood.

    It is essential that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills as a significant element of your role will be building and maintaining good relationships with other teams and departments throughout a large company.

    You may be asked to do some research into IT requirements, systems or processes and deliver support and assistance to a team, so an interest in IT is essential. Other areas you will get involved in may be document management, project support, change management, diary management, cost tracking or training.

    This role would suit an individual who has some accounts and administration experience - possibly having worked for a period of time in an accounts department - within a commercial organisation. You will be responsible for the department’s expenses' claims.

    A good working knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint and Outlook would be useful in the role. You would be expected to be a good communicator and able to work flexibly - both with your time and occasionally your location.
