  • A highly respected London based Commodities Trading company has a new permanent opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer to join their Development Team.

    This is a unique opportunity to join a leading trading house and a talented team of developers designing, developing and supporting complex custom built systems. You will need to be highly numerate, analytical and able to understand business processes quickly.

    To be suitable for this position you MUST have solid experience of developing large scale Windows UI applications including database development and construction of stored procedures. You will need demonstrable experience of designing, building and maintaining applications in a distributed Microsoft environment within commodities trading environment, investment banking or the Finance sector.

    Strong skills with the following technologies are essential for this role:
    • C# and/or VB.NET
    • Oracle and/or SQL Server
    • WPF
    • WCF
    • Windows Services
    • XML

    It is likely that you have a good degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Mathematics / Physics related discipline (or equivalent) from a recognised University.
