A household name in the retail industry is looking for a customer aware problem solver to join its expanding team. In this role you will be expected to provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support in a Windows based environment, whilst also assisting in the maintenance and improvement of their retail website.
In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have experience of supporting a consumer facing retail website. You will be working with 3rd party providers that manage the website and will need to identify and log areas that need improvement, while also providing front line support for user issues. In addition to your experience of supporting a consumer facing website you MUST have excellent PC support skills. Commercial experience with Active Directory, Windows7/XP and networking is also essential.
You will be expected to become the subject matter expert on issues relating to the website, so experience of fault finding and root cause analysis would be advantageous. Ideally you will understand how payment transactions work, while some content management and HTML skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
