The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading organisation to assist them in their search for a PR, Press & Communications Officer on an initial 3 month fixed term contract.
You must be immediately available to interview and start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, issuing and releasing positive news stories on behalf of the institution, both internally and externally. They will also maintain relationships with other organisations and agencies via regular contact - including telephone, email, face to face meetings.
The production of regular bespoke content and copy is a key requirement. This needs to be distributed via a content management system to highlight the positive reputation of the organisation to a variety of media and publication stakeholders.
To be suitable for this exciting 3 month fixed term opportunity, you must possess diverse experience providing full PR mix with local newspapers, online media, magazines and TV. Ability to compose statements in a crisis situation / crisis management is also essential.
In addition to the competitive salary of up to £32,000 with 23 days annual leave, the company invest heavily in its staff providing a vibrant and active work environment.
