A successful business, delivering IT services and support to a range of local SMEs, is seeking an experienced all-round support engineer to join their close-knit team.
It is essential that you have a full UK driving license and your own transport for this role as you will be required to visit various clients.
To be suitable for this position you will have experience of supporting a variety of SMEs, both over the phone and remotely, but also on-site with clients. You will be responsible for supporting a range of different client networks so a good understanding of networking principles is essential, coupled with a thorough knowledge of supporting Small Business Server, SBS.
Experience of providing standard helpdesk/desktop support and troubleshooting is expected, so a thorough knowledge of applications such as MS Office, Outlook etc is expected, along with solid working experience of Active Directory, Exchange and Windows Server administration.
In addition to salary and benefits, this company supports their engineers through providing learning materials, exam fees and time off for exams for professional training courses. The basic salary on offer with this role is up to £26,000, possibly higher for outstanding candidates, plus a car allowance of £3,000 and performance related bonus of around £2-3,000. This depends upon the skills and experience you can bring to the role.
