Title:
Market Data Analyst
Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and articulate, analytical individual, to join a large and extremely well-established, multi-site business. Although based in the Midlands, there is flexibility regarding location, and the possibility to work from one of their other UK sites.
The role will require a substantial amount of research and analysis into the different business groups, their current clients, potential clients and industry news. You will be required to undertake data collection and data entry, interpret and understand business reports, keep databases up to date with accurate data and information, all with the purpose of getting to understand the market.
You must have the ability to use a variety of tools to access market information, both online and by building relationships with key individuals and teams. Your technical skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, must be strong, and any Access and Cognos experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
You will be expected to collate and present market intelligence for use by decision makers across the organisation. Strong documentation and presentation skills will be a pre-requisite to this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar research and analysis role. The level of experience required for this position is flexible as the business will consider a junior analyst looking for a step up, or a more experienced analyst looking for a new challenge. The salary will vary depending upon the experience you bring to the position, from around £30,000 up to a maximum of £40,000 for experienced candidates.
• West Midlands, possible flexibility to work at one of their other UK sites if necessary
• Up to £40,000
• Large, well-established business
