ASH09446SG Telephony & VOIP Specialist The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a leading organisation to fulfil an urgent contract requirement for a Telephony & VOIP Engineer.
 
We are looking for an engineer with a strong telephony and comms background to work with our client.

To be suitable for this position you will be a highly motivated self starter with enterprise Telephony & VOIP experience working with the following technologies:

• Cisco Call Manager and Unity Voicemail
• Telephony & VOIP, phone lines , wireless, Backup Exec , Cloud CC
• LAN troubleshooting skills

You will be able to administer Cisco Call Manager and Unity Voicemail ideally version 7, have experience setting up accounts, creating and managing hunt groups, voicemail trouble shooting and Attendant console installation and configuration.

You will work with project teams during design, delivery and operational transition of new telephony and VOIP network services and assist in the specification and provisioning of the infrastructure.

In addition you must ensure security is maintained throughout the system and remains compliant with internal and external standards, policies and governance.

You will need excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as working under instruction. You may be required to visit other sites so you will ideally be able to drive.
